‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 25 premiere: How to watch, where to stream

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is back for its 25th season set to premiere on NBC Thursday, Jan. 18 at 9/8c following the season 23 premiere of Law & Order.

During episode one of the new season, as the squad celebrates the birth of Rollins and Carisi’s child, another child goes missing in broad daylight.

Where can I watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 25?

Although the new season will premiere on NBC, those without basic cable can live stream new episodes of Law & Order: SVU the same day they premiere with FuboTV or DirecTV Stream. Both offer free trials for new users who can watch for free before committing to a paid subscription.

Those willing to wait can also stream new episodes the day after they premiere with a Peacock subscription.

What is the difference between FuboTV and DirecTV Stream?

Both FuboTV and DirecTV Stream are set up like any other streaming service, but rather than offering exclusively on-demand content, they both offer a plethora of exclusive live TV channels.

FuboTV considers itself a sports-focused live streaming service, but overall, its standard package comes with over 100 live TV channels for $74.99 a month after its free trial. These channels include ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, TLC, MTV and much more.

FuboTV also comes with a variety of shows and movies users can watch on-demand along with the option to record your favorite TV shows.

DirecTV Stream is similar to FuboTV in that it offers many of the same channels and features. At $69.99 a month after its free trial, the base package comes with a little over 75 live TV channels.
